He possessed slow manouvers and a lack of brains, though, and plus Alice was always seen to slay him in the prophecy. I believe it was out of luck that she beat him. What gave her confidence was the prophecy, though. The Knave of Hearts was trained to beat humans like Alice, and also remember guys are physically stronger than girls, especially ones who specialiase in defeating humans in combat. It is The Knave of Hearts, I don't have a second doubt, who would be the victor. But maybe after years of training Alice would put up a fight.
